Lauri Hitchcock, M.D., is a board-certified physician at multiple UW Medicine Primary Care locations.
Dr. Hitchcock provides urgent care services. She believes UW urgent care clinics are a valuable link between a patient and their primary care doctor. Her goal is to provide compassionate, quality care for patients when they are facing the frustrating challenge of an unexpected illness or injury and can't get in to see their family physician.
Dr. Hitchcock earned her M.D. at the University of Texas, Galveston. She has a particular interest in humanitarian aid and has worked with Doctors Without Borders. She has a diploma in Tropical Medicine and enjoys incorporating travel medicine into her practice.
Dr. Hitchcock was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She has lived in the Seattle area for 25 years and loves living in the Pacific Northwest. Her Texas roots remain strong with a yearly Austin trip for great live music and camping. She enjoys hiking, camping, reading and travel.
