Dave Lu, MD, MS, MBE, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician. He cares for patients at the UW Medical Center - Montlake and UW Medical Center - Northwest campuses. Dr. Lu studies issues related to the healthcare workforce, including provider burnout, well-being, attrition, and diversity. His research focuses on understanding how clinicians' work experiences may impact patient safety and quality of care. He believes in a team approach to patient-centered care.
