COVID-19 Testing at UW Medical Center – Northwest (All ages)
Inside the Parking Garage, UW Medical Center - Northwest offers drive-up and walk-up testing for the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes COVID-19. This is a nasal swab test that will determine if you are currently infected with COVID-19.

Can I get a COVID-19 test even if I don’t have symptoms or a known exposure?
Yes, but due to increased demand for testing of patients who have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19, testing for other reasons, such as travel, is limited at UW Medicine test sites.
Can't find a time that works for you at a UW Medicine test site?
Several other organizations offer testing. Learn more about other testing options in Seattle. Please note that UW Medicine providers cannot access test results from locations outside of UW Medicine.
Patients who are scheduled for surgery at a UW Medicine facility: If your clinic told you that you need a COVID-19 test prior to surgery, call the Contact Center at 206.520.8700 or sign in to MyChart to schedule.
How do I prepare for my test?
You must bring a form of identification with you to your appointment — such as a driver's license or passport — to confirm your identity. Both walk-up and drive-up patients should wear a mask and arrive five minutes before their scheduled test time. To help with traffic flow, please be on time and do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
Can children get tested for coronavirus at this testing site?

What happens after I get tested?
While you're waiting for your test results, you should self-quarantine at home.
