COVID-19 Testing at Harborview Medical Center (All ages)
Harborview Medical Center offers walk-up testing for ;the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes COVID-19. This is a nasal swab test that will determine if you are currently infected with COVID-19.
Do you think you may have a COVID-19 infection?
If you have symptoms or a known exposure, you may make an appointment for a COVID-19 test. Please schedule your appointment by clicking on the blue “Book Online” button above or by calling 206.520.8700.
Can I get a COVID-19 test even if I don’t have symptoms or a known exposure?
Yes, but due to increased demand for testing of patients who have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19, testing for other reasons, such as travel, is limited at UW Medicine test sites.
Can't find a time that works for you at a UW Medicine test site?

Patients who are scheduled for surgery at a UW Medicine facility: If your clinic told you that you need a COVID-19 test prior to surgery, call the Contact Center at 206.520.8700 or sign in to MyChart to schedule.
How do I prepare for my test?
You must bring a form of identification with you to your appointment — such as a driver's license or passport — to confirm your identity. Patients should wear a mask and arrive five minutes before their scheduled test time. ;To help with traffic flow, please be on time and do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
Can children get tested for coronavirus at this testing site ?
Yes, the COVID-19 Testing Site at Harborview offers testing for all ages, including children.
What happens after I get tested?
While you're waiting for your test results, you should self-quarantine at home.
