Comprehensive care and breakthrough cystic fibrosis research at UW Medical Center - Montlake
The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic and Program at UW Medical Center - Montlake is the only adult CF Program in the Puget Sound region and offers the region’s only lung transplant program.
Our integrated approach includes multidisciplinary care, research and clinical trials to advance the science behind CF and extend the lives of our patients.
Our board-certified physicians specialize in cystic fibrosis, pulmonary disease and internal medicine. They work closely with registered nurses, dietitians, social workers, mental health providers, clinical pharmacists and respiratory therapists to provide a holistic, patient-centered approach.
We provide consultation, evaluation and care for cystic fibrosis, as well as pulmonary function tests, cystic fibrosis genotyping and specialty referrals for male infertility, diabetes, otolaryngology, allergy, high-risk obstetrics and others as indicated.
Thanks to a long-term partnership between the University of Washington and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, one of the seven original CFF Therapeutic Network sites, our patients have benefitted from nearly 30 years of medical breakthroughs.
As part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-sponsored Research Development Program (RDP), UW Medicine maintains core facilities for use by cystic fibrosis researchers, funds pilot research projects, sponsors research seminars and supports fellows involved in cystic fibrosis research.
